I think the topic of hiring “the new salesperson” is very interesting. What do you, as a potential employer, need to do differently to find the right people in today’s evolving sales career? And what does the salesperson looking for the best fit need to do?
We think the answers to both these questions are a mix of education, knowledge about how to use social sites like LinkedIn, emphasis on other sales roles (like SDRs and assistant roles), and awareness of and competency with the CRM solution (hopefully Pipeliner CRM!) that drives sales success in our digital culture.
