It's always frustrated me that most of the communication advice pushed by self-help books is based on a mixture of pseudoscience, hearsay, and wishful thinking. So I've made it my mission to uncover the best research in this area, sort fact from fiction, and share the results.
I also founded the learning company Emphasis in 1998. So far, it’s helped more than 70,000 people around the globe to transform their written communication. Clients include everyone from Google and the world's leading law firms to the Royal Household at Buckingham Palace.
