Last week we had the pleasure to meet a lot of great sales people during our first official Pipeliner Business Cocktail event in Marina del Ray, Los Angeles.

The Idea

“Share and empower the others!”

We started organizing the pipeliner Business Cocktails to bring together sales people and get them to empower their piers. The Topic – Can you Increase Sales Through Innovation?

The main topic of this first event was to discuss how sales organizations have evolved over the last years due to market and technology changes and how to turn those changes into opportunities in order to land the big deals we are all looking for.

The Speakers

We have been lucky to gather three exceptional speakers: Bob Lodie, Tom Searcy and Nikolaus Kimla

★ Bob Lodie a EVP, Sales & Marketing at iDealResponse, presented a powerful keynote on “How technology and innovation are changing the game for sales organizations!” He started his speech with the following question:

“Can anybody tell me what the WWW stood for in the 90’s? It stood for World Wide Wait!”

Tom Searcy, CEO at Hunt Big Sales, presented a sensational speech on “Unlocking explosive growth!” and opened the presentation by saying:

“My daughter landed her largest sale ever… She is nine!”

Tom teaches you how to think big prior to selling. Learn how one big sale can change your organization. You learn to understand that big sales are a key transformative factor in managing any company.

Nicolas Kimla, CEO at pipelinersales.com, has unveiled some key problems concerning current CRM tools in his keynote “The necessary competitive edge in sales to win more deals with greater ease!” and showed the way he re-invented sales through a software by making it a bottom-up solution for sales by answering the following question:

“Why sales reps do not like the CRM system they work with?”

  • they do not understand it
  • they do not like the structure
  • they are time consuming
  • they are not intuitive
  • and, they do not like to work with data
