Stela was born in Eastern Europe after the fall of the Soviet Union and was raised on a daily income of two dollars. In 2006, at the age of 13, she and her family migrated to the US. Stela learned English in 30 days and went on to become a classically trained concert pianist, eventually becoming a successful business owner.
