A leadership, organizational culture, and change expert, author, and speaker, Kate Jones is passionate about how we can live, lead, and work well. She is a certified executive coach and consultant with 30 years’ experience supporting clients. She specializes in building leadership capability in purpose-led organizations that balance human care with high performance.
After graduating from Oxford, Kate began her career as a social worker and probation officer. Later, seeking a new challenge, she moved to PA Consulting Group, where she led organizational change programs for 10 years before founding Neon in 2013.
Kate’s work is grounded in the Deeply Human Leadership® model, built around five core capabilities: Clarity of Purpose, Connection, Consciousness, Creativity and Care. Alongside this, she hosts the Deeply Human Culture Club, a free global community for leaders who believe in a more human approach to leading for high performance.
Kate is passionate about changing the world of work through championing this way of leading. This is the topic of her first book, Deeply Human: Why Work is Broken and How Leaders Can Fix It, now in the final stages of editing. The book is a manifesto for change, a blueprint for a new way to lead, and a companion guide to individual development.
